I am looking to purchase an external pump for my 3,500 gallon Koi pond.  This pond features a DIY pond filter system consisting of a chamber full of Matala Filter Media.  Based on our specific needs, we have narrowed our choices down to either a Sequence 750 Series Pump or an Elite 800 Series Pump.  Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these pumps and if so, which option would you recommended based on your experience?

Based on our experience, both options would be an excellent choice.  Sequence 750 Series Pumps offer a maximum flow rate of 4,200 gallons per hour, while the Elite 800 Series Pumps max out at 5,600 gallons per hour.  This additional 1,400 GPH of water flow can really make a difference if you have a waterfall.  The Elite 800 Series also features extra-long 15’ power cords, while Sequence Pumps feature 8’ cords.  Both pumps offer outstanding energy efficiency and are covered by a 3 year warranty.   If you require any additional assistance, feel free to contact us.  We hope this helps… ;)
